brothers and sisters

November 2036 - Edward and Kaylynn Gaunt are 31, Cassiopeia Gaunt is 8, Bellatrix and Regulus Gaunt are 5, and Sirius Gaunt is 2.

Regulus and Bellatrix are in kindergarten this year, but Cassiopeia isn't very interested in talking to her little brother.

"I like recess," he says. "It's my favorite part of the day."

"Recess is for babies," Cassiopeia scoffs.

She has more in common with Bellatrix. They're both serious girls with a tendency to be a little grouchy. And neither of them like their little brother Sirius yet.

"He's just a baby," Cassiopeia says. "He's so boring. He can't do anything fun yet."

Even though Bellatrix isn't a very nice little girl, she's very close to her twin brother. Regulus is a little intimidated by both of his sisters, but Bellatrix sticks up for him when Cassiopeia picks on him.

With three of the kids in school, Kaylynn can spend more time with Sirius. Edward was ambivalent about having a fourth child, but she always wanted a big family. Both of them agree that four children is plenty, so Kaylynn is trying to spend as much time with her  baby as possible before he grows up and heads to school too.
