Phoebe gives up her seat in Congress to run for the Senate, and she wins!
But Election Day brings more changes than just a new job.
Phoebe and Adrian weren't planning to have a baby, but they're both very excited about it.
With twins on the way, their one bedroom apartment won't cut it. They don't have enough money for a house yet, so they rent a larger apartment in the same building.
Adrian takes care of the paperwork while Phoebe heads inside to pee. She has to pee all the time now!
Adrian's always been ambitious, but now he's even more motivated at work. He's hoping to get a raise soon so they can afford to move out of the apartment.
"It's not that I don't like writing the horoscope column," he tells his editor, Ellie Cornwall, "but I'd love to move onto a different assignment, maybe write more serious stories."
Phoebe goes into labor one morning while Adrian is at work. It's two weeks before her due date, and she's terrified without him, but somehow she manages.
She gives birth to a girl and a boy. They name them Diana and Lucas. Both of the twins have brown hair and brown eyes like their father. Even though they hadn't been planning to have children yet, they're very happy with their little family.

Seriously, what is up with all of these twins? Most of the families who have had twins have the Fertility Aspiration Bonus, but neither of them are Family Sims. I almost stopped the pregnancy and restarted it so they would just have one, but I decided my neighborhood needs as many playable Sims who aren't related to anyone else. (Piper and Alex's kids have 14 cousins!) But this is getting ridiculous. This generation has had 8 sets of twins out of 26 kids. I've been wondering if I can adjust something so I don't have quite so many twins.
That has to be a record number of twins! Guess they really should get to a house with two babies, they will need a lot of space for the kids to romp around on.
