All of the Smith kids are in high school this year.
John and Tom are seniors preparing to college next year. They're still best friends, but as they've gotten older they've been getting more different.
For starters, Tom is now a lot taller than John! Tom shot up this year, while John seems to be finished growing. Tom's even taller than his father now.Tom has loved sports since he was a little kid, and this year he's the star of his soccer team.
He also has a girlfriend, Madison Miller-Kim.
Tom's quite the high school star!John's an excellent student, but he's not as popular as Tom. John can't wait to head to college to study law. Since Tom's been busy with Madison, John's been spending more time with Alex. They both love playing chess.
Being the only girl in a family with three boys, Jamie spends a lot of time by herself. She loves playing outside and helping her father in the vegetable garden. She's always loved pets; she has a pet bird, and she spends a lot of time with the family dogs.
With the kids in high school, James and Anne have more time to focus on their careers. Anne is the Dean of Students at the local university, and James has his own architecture firm.
