"I can't believe your brother and sister are both engaged," Jillian sighs.
Jackson and Rose move back to the Cooper family home after college. Jackson immediately starts working for Cooper Industries while Rose stays home and plans their wedding. They've decided on a spring wedding at the house.
Jillian is a little wary of her future daughter-in-law at first; after all, this is the woman who's marrying her only son! But they become friends quickly. Rose is so elegant and refined that Jillian can't help but admire her. And Rose is always complimenting Jillian and her homemaking skills.
"I've always wanted to be a mother," Rose tells her. "Jackson and I can't wait to have a family together."
Rose has been worried about having the wedding outside, but the weather is perfect.
The ceremony is outside by the pond, the same place where Jack and Jillian got married more than 20 years ago.
After the ceremony everyone goes inside for the reception. Rachel is the only one without a date, so she plays the piano while the couples dance.
Jillian can't believe how grown up Piper looks as she waltzes with Alex. They've been together for three years, and she realizes that it won't be long before she's dancing at her youngest child's wedding.
"Our kids are all grown up," she tells Jack sadly.
"They couldn't stay babies forever," he reminds her. But when he sees she's serious, he adds, "We'll have grandchildren soon."
That cheers her up. The nursery has been empty for so long, she can't wait until it's full of babies again.
Aw, I'm glad to get an update on the Coopers. So cute!
