Edward and Kaylynn get married in August right after he graduates from college. Their wedding is small, just family, and it's everything Kaylynn hoped for.
She's nervous about meeting his family, but they're completely charming and gracious. His mother is so beautiful and elegant. She hugs Kaylynn, saying, "I've always wanted a daughter."
Even though there are only six of them, the wedding party goes late into the night. Richie plays the piano, and they dance for hours.
Just as he promised her, they go back to Twikkii Island for their honeymoon. It's just as beautiful as she remembered, but this time she can actually enjoy it. She isn't a maid anymore, she isn't just a rich boy's girlfriend. Now she's Mrs. Edward Gaunt.
They don't really do very much sightseeing. The hotel has a private beach, and they spend most of their time there. They don't even venture out for food, opting for room service most days. All they need is each other and their happily-ever-after.
