Jamie's pregnancy fascinates Pierce. "You're huge," he says. "You're growing people in there!"
They've only been married for 10 months when the twins are born, a boy and a girl. They name the boy James after her father, but they call him J.P., and they name the girl Jodie.
Jamie and Pierce agree they've never seen more beautiful babies. Jodie has her father's black hair and brown eyes, while J.P. has brown hair and blue eyes like his mother and grandfather.
Anne and James were surprised when Jamie got married so young, and they're even more surprised when her first children are born less than a year later. Jamie's a mother, and she isn't even 23 yet. But James and Anne are also excited about having grandchildren. Plus Jamie and Pierce are living with them, so they can help with the babies while Jamie and Pierce get their careers going. Jamie joined the police department, and Pierce is a soccer player with Tom.
"Can you believe we're grandparents?" Anne sighs to James. After all of these years, she's tucking twins into bed in John and Tom's old bedroom.
"We'll have another one soon," James reminds her. Tom and Madison recently surprised both of their families by announcing that they were having a baby.
"Our son is having a baby with Martin and Miranda's daughter," she laughs. "Who would have guessed it back when we were eating pizza and playing kicky bag in our dorm."
